Ace Putt is the brainchild of Marlo Anderson, the founder of National Day Calendar, and his grandson, Logan Dutenhafer. Their shared passion for mini golf and an eye for innovation led to the creation of this unique game. It all started on a family vacation,
a setting where the best memories are made and the simplest ideas can turn into something extraordinary.
With a few basic rules in place, Marlo and Logan introduced their concept to friends and family.
The response was overwhelmingly positive. Everyone loved the heightened challenge and the focus on
the most exhilarating part of mini golf. This feedback was the encouragement they needed to take their
idea further.
A couple of years later, a twist of fate played its part in refining Ace Putt. The duo had plans to spend a day with Hulk Hogan in Clearwater, FL. However, Logan felt ill that morning, and they had to cancel. As Logan recovered later in the day, Marlo and Logan decided to hit the mini golf course. It was there, amidst the greens and windmills, that they fine-tuned the rules of Ace Putt, turning it into the game we know and love today.
